Alumnus Set to Write Pilot for Let the Right One In

Alumnus Andrew Hinderaker (M.F.A. 2013) will adapt a pilot script for Let the Right One In, based on the Swedish vampire novel and film of the same name. Hinderaker will serve as showrunner and co-executive producer for the Showtime pilot.

A Screening of (Re)current Unrest to be Featured with UMFA Exhibit

Charles O. Anderson's (Re)current Unrest will be included in The Utah Museum of Fine Arts at the University of Utah's upcoming exhibition Black Refractions. A screening of the performance will take place on March 25, 2021, followed by a workshop led by Anderson on March 27, 2021.

Faculty members Michelle Habeck and Nanette Acosta are among a group of artistic collaborators who have contributed to the film Citizens at Last, Texas Women Fight for the Right to Vote. Habeck's lighting design and Acosta's costume design can be seen in the film's first broadcast, taking place on March 19, 2021 at 9:00 p.m. on Austin PBS, KLRU-TV.

Dance Students Contribute to Visual Arts Center Exhibition

A group of dance students created movement-based responses to Score for 7 Solos, an exhibition created by visual artist Madeline Hollander. Their responses to Hollander's unique artwork can be seen projected in the window overlooking the Visual Arts Center's south lawn every evening Wednesday through Saturday until March 27, 2021.
