Policies for Staging Intimacy

The Department of Theatre and Dance at The University of Texas at Austin is dedicated to integrating consent-based practices into all classroom and production environments. In all Theatre and Dance Department-related activities, all participants are expected to abide by recommended Instructional Touch and Theatrical Intimacy practices. All participants in Theatre and Dance Department activities are expected to be able to communicate their boundaries, ask before they touch and maintain a respectful working environment.
