Marcia Gay Harden (B.A. '80) accepted the Tony for “Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play” Sunday night for her role as “Veronica” in Yasmina Reza's God of Carnage. The award marks a first career win for Harden. Her Broadway debut as “Harper” in Tony Kushner's, Angels in America, garnered two Tony Award nominations in 1993.
