Zach Young is a M.F.A. in Theatre candidate with a specialization in live design and production at The University of Texas at Austin. His specific focus is in lighting design, but he is passionate about expanding into other areas as well. He comes from a background in technical direction and is excited to merge this with lighting design. Young is passionate about finding how to design integrated/interactive lighting into shows. For Texas Theatre and Dance's 2022 production of Fall for Dance, he designed lighting for three distinct dance pieces. For the 2023/2024 production season at The College of Fine Arts, Young will be designing opera and dance pieces.
