Stephanie Williams is a lecturer in the UT Live Design and Production area in the Department of Theatre and Dance.

What do you enjoy most about being a part of UT Theatre and Dance?

I enjoy the process of watching the next generations develop their skill sets and explore their creative natures. It is a joy being able to help guide students on design choices and give them firm foundations to be able to go beyond, getting into the details that take their unique vision, artistic expression and interpretation of a piece to the next level.

What is your favorite thing about Austin?

Austin is a very encouraging and open environment that allows for the chance to truly think outside the box. The heart and open ended nature of the city stimulates the opportunity of pursuing the craft of any art. It invigorates and calls for students and citizens to produce their best work and push the limits of conceived abilities.
