Faculty member Franchelle Stewart Dorn serves as the narrator for Muraling Austin, a documentary that explores the vibrant street art of Texas' capital city and the way it impacts the surrounding community. Muraling Austin airs on Austin PBS starting March 24, 2023.

Faculty member Katie Dawson has been selected as part of a group of international scholars for Faberllull's Research based Theatre, Pedagogy, Diversity residency. She'll spend a week in Catalonia working with her fellow residents on a project centering research-based theatre and pedagogy.

John Proctor is the Villain, written by Kimberly Belflower (M.F.A. 2017), has been added to the Broadway Licensing catalogue. Belflower's acclaimed play, which was seen on The Kilroys List in 2019, is also set for a run at Boston's Huntington Theatre during their 2023/2024 season.

Faculty member Erica "EG" Gionfriddo has been selected as a 2023 Provost Teaching Fellow. They'll join a cohort of faculty from across campus who will create original initiatives and campus-wide events to improve teaching and learning on campus.
