Dr. Paul Bonin-Rodriguez has been accepted to Cornell University’s prestigious History of Capitalism Summer Camp, a two-week intensive workshop on economic methods for historians. Selected from a competitive pool of faculty and graduate student candidates from across the country, participants work with Cornell faculty to further develop their interests in economic techniques through a concentrated study of financial analysis, statistics, macro- and microeconomics and research methods.

Bonin-Rodriguez is an associate professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance’s Performance as Public Practice program as well as the chair for the College of Fine Arts’ Minor in Arts Management and Administration program. His book, Performing Policy: How Politics and Cultural Programs Redefined U.S. Artists for the Twenty-first Century (Palgrave, 2014), assesses how research and development initiatives since the late 1990s have radically reshaped artistic practices nationwide.
