As leaders in their school districts, attendees are actively designing and devising curricula and teaching strategies that help cultivate the talent, passion, and value of arts education in Texas. The Texas Theatre Educators' Forum will establish conversations among UT faculty and high school educators, and as a result, will support the sharing of ideas and methods that will strengthen each participants' individual programs. The Forum intends to help educators build a network among peers across the state while enabling the Department of Theatre and Dance to better identify how the department and university may be of service to high school theatre educators.

Event: The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance will host the Texas Theatre Educators' Forum on October 28 and 29. The Forum is an intimate, by-invitation only event for high school theatre educators and fine arts administrators from across the state of Texas.

Where: F. Loren Winship Drama Building (WIN), located at the intersection of 23rd Street and San Jacinto.
