Student panelists from UT Austin’s Office of Sustainability highlight students’ role in driving environmental sustainability initiatives on campus and discuss current and past sustainability efforts.

12:15-1:15pm DIY Sustainability Tactics | Winship 1.134

An interactive knowledge-share on implementing sustainability into everyday life. Workshop facilitators will bring their tips and tricks, but feel free to offer your own strategies, too!

1:30-2:30pm Environmental Justice and Activism Across Texas | Winship 1.134

Community activists and UT professors discuss current movements and issues in environmental justice in the state of Texas.

3:00-4:00pm Sustainable Theatrical Design and Construction | Winship 1.134

Members of the set and costume design team of Mr. Burns: A post-electric play share their methods and approach to the zero-waste design and construction process.

4:00-5:00pm Ethical Rehearsal Practices | Winship 1.134

Mr. Burns directors and actors share their approach to an ethical and equitable rehearsal room and their moments of learning from the rehearsal process.
