Senior Administrative Associate

Liliana Zapatero (she/her) is the Visitor Liaison for the Department of Theatre and Dance at The University of Texas at Austin. As part of the finance team, she oversees guest artist needs such as honorariums, travel accommodations and reimbursements, sets up all of Theatre and Dance’s hourly employees and is a DPUSER administrator. Originally from Huntsville, Texas, Zapatero graduated with a B.F.A. in Dance and a minor in general business from Sam Houston State University. She is a co-director of ZATERO Dance, founded in 2017 by Zapatero and Natasha Small. Since moving to Austin in 2016, she has worked and performed locally with Annette Christopher, Articulate Austin, Circuitous Dance/Kate Warren, Lisa Nicks and her Band of Wild Ponies, Shrewd Productions, RAW PEAR and ZATERO Dance.
