Pearl Modine is a first-year M.F.A. in Theatre candidate with a specialization in live design and production and a focus in costume technology. She worked this past summer as a stitcher at The Opera Theatre of St. Louis under draper Bob Trump and the summer of 2022 at Santa Fe Opera as a stitching/dressing apprentice under draper Vicky Neufeld. Modine is primarily focusing on tailoring and draping techniques and hopes to work professionally within the theatrical field following the completion of their graduate studies. They are looking forward to getting to know and learning from the amazing staff and students at the Department of Theatre and Dance.
