Caley Chase directs theatre and live performance. She has directed, developed and assisted work at the The Huntington, Powerhouse Theater, American Repertory Theater, Trinity Repertory Theatre, Shakespeare & Co, Actors’ Shakespeare Project, Speakeasy Stage and Breaking & Entering Theatre, among others. Recent credits include Choreomaniac 1518 by Malena Pennycook (UTNT (UT New Theatre), 2024), Macbeth and The Taming of the Shrew (Powerhouse Theater), The Mikvah Project by Josh Azouz (Texas Theatre and Dance Studio Series, 2022), Then We’ll Rest by Eliya Smith (The Cohen New Works Festival, 2023) and untitled memory project (The Cohen New Works Festival, 2023). Chase holds a B.A. from Brandeis University and is currently pursuing a M.F.A. in Theatre with a specialization in directing at The University of Texas at Austin.
