To celebrate the start of a new academic year, the Theatre and Dance Undergraduate Advisory Council (UAC) has developed unique online events that will help welcome incoming students to the department. From a game night to virtual Convocation, they are ensuring that our new Longhorns have a chance to make connections and meet their peers as the semester starts. Current students will receive information about how to attend events directly via email.

Traditionally held in the B. Iden Payne Theatre, this year's Convocation celebrations seek to establish connection by introducing new students to the department's faculty and coming together as a virtual community to commemorate the start of a new year.

- To conclude the first week in what will be a truly unique semester, UAC will be hosting a virtual movie night! Incoming students and returning students alike are invited to enjoy a fan-favorite film which will be announced at the event.
