Avery Deutsch is a playwright and actor from Katonah, New York. Her plays include Three Exorcisms (Bay Area Playwrights Festival finalist 2022), The Winterguard Play (Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival winner 2022), Old Beggar Women (Red Bull Short New Play Festival winner 2020) and The Donor (Playing on Air Stevenson Competition, third place winner 2020). She is the winner of Clubbed Thumb’s 2022 Biennial Commission and her play There's Something Wrong With That Steer is currently under development with them.
