It's 16th century France and everything is horrible! There's bubonic plague, major agricultural collapse and the leadership is corrupt as all hell.  When a dancing plague breaks out, a group of potato farmers cue the strobe lights and reach towards hope. These are the choreomaniacs. This is their (mostly) true story.

E'ja Alexander (she/hers) is a native Texan with a passion for the arts. Originally from Dallas, she is in her fourth year as a B.F.A. in Dance major with a minor in health and kinesiology at The University of Texas at Austin. 

Laura Baker is a B.F.A. in Dance major at The University of Texas at Austin. Recent credits with the Department of Theatre and Dance include Evolution. She has also performed as a part of It's Starting Again and as a member of Dance Action's S.E.E.D

Jaz Burchell is a first-year B.A. in Theatre and Dance major with an emphasis in design and technology. She has a background in both technical design and dance. This is her first production with Texas Theatre and Dance. 

Evan Carlson is a fourth-year B.F.A. in Dance major at The University of Texas at Austin. Performances with Texas Theatre and Dance include PIVOT (2022), Fall For Dance (2022) and EMERGE (2023). Other performance credits incldue Woodstock Playhouse and Zilker Theatre Productions in addition to years of acting, voice and dance training. 

Mackenzie Peacock is a B.F.A. in Dance (UTeach Dance) major at The University of Texas at Austin. She has an extensive background in ballet, modern and contemporary dance styles. Recent credits include Dance Action's S.E.E.D. This will be her first performance with Texas Theatre and Dance. 

Natalia DePaula is a second-year B.F.A. in Dance major at The University of Texas at Austin. She is also a member of Dance Action, where she has performed and choreographed for S.E.E.D. Past credits include Narratives of the Migrant Body (2023). This will be her first performance as part of UTNT (UT New Theatre). 

Elizabeth Garza is a B.F.A. in Dance major at The University of Texas at Austin. She has studied ballet, contemporary and jazz styles extensively under Peter O'Brien and Alex Ossadnik, among others. She has also trained with the American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Austin and the Houston Ballet. Recent credits with Texas Theatre and Dance include digital-esque (Fall For Dance, 2022) and Live as ONE (2023), in addition to Evolution (2022, 2023) and Dance Action's S.E.E.D. (2023). 

Lorna Luciano is a third-year B.F.A. in Dance major also pursuing a pre-physical therapy certificate at The University of Texas at Austin. She is from San Antonio, Texas where she trained extensively in contemporary, jazz and ballet styles. Recent credits with Texas Theatre and Dance include Fall For Dance (2022, 2023) and EMERGE (2023), as well as The Cohen New Works Festival, Evolution and Dance Action's S.E.E.D.

Mackenzie Mann is a first-year B.F.A. in Acting major also pursing a minor in language, culture and communication at The University of Texas at Austin. This will be their first production with Texas Theatre and Dance. Prior to coming to the university, she worked on a devised theatre production at the Alley Theatre's Summer Acting Conservatory, where they embodied an undercover Athena in a world following Orestes' trial. 

Christian Ortega is a first-year B.F.A. in Dance major at The University of Texas at Austin. He has an extensive background in dance, with a primary focus in ballroom, contemporary and hip hop. This will be Christian's first performance with Texas Theatre and Dance. 

Fátima Quraishi is a B.A. in Theatre and Dance major with an emphasis in performer's process at The University of Texas at Austin. She has an extensive background in both dance and acting. Recent credits with Texas Theatre and Dance include Bellua (Studio Series, 2023). Additional TV and film credits include Killer Relationship (season 2) and Sneak Peek (TSTV); as we all appearing in America's Funniest Home Videos and Lost in Band Kids, the movie. 

Elyse Rosario is a second-year B.A. in Theatre and Dance major with an emphasis in performer's process at The University of Texas at Austin. Previous credits include serving as dance captain for her high school's production of Legally Blonde, the Musical; "Narrator" in Dance of the Vampires and "Rumbera" in La Liga de la Decencia (The Cohen New Works Festival, 2023). 

Jay Smith is a third-year B.A. in Theatre and Dance major with an emphasis in performer's process also pursuing a degree in human ecology at The University of Texas at Austin. Smith has experience in signing, acting and piano. Recent credits with Texas Theatre and Dance include the role of "Jim Cooper" in Address the Body! (UTNT, 2023) and "The Wraith) in Bellua (Studio Series, 2023).

Sophie Steinhauser is a second-year B.F.A. in Theatre Education major. This is her first production with Texas Theatre and Dance. 

Nihal Tangeda is a second-year B.A. in Psychology major with a minor in general business at The University of Texas at Austin. Nihal has previously danced and acted in minor productions. This will be his first production with Texas Theatre and Dance. 

Jaden West is a B.A. in Theatre and Dance major with an emphasis in performer's process. Recent credits with Texas Theatre and Dance include Our Town (Studio Series, 2022), Squid Kid (The Cohen New Works Festival, 2023) and Bellua (Studio Series, 2023). Jaden is also serving as the assistant director for Pretend It's Pretend (UTNT, 2024).
