Parkins (M.F.A., Dance, 2012) is a doctoral fellow and program assistant in Teachers College's dance education program, the nation's only doctoral program focused on educational research in dance. Parkins's research explores the experiences of Latinx youth engaged in culturally relevant dance-making practices.
The series begins January 18 with Toros by Tejera (M.F.A., Playwriting, 2020), directed by David Mendizábal. Toros follows three international late-20-year-olds (and one dying golden retriever) as they hang out and more in a garage in Madrid as they try to sort out their lives.
The Christopher Hill Gallery, an established contemporary fine art gallery in St. Helena, CA at in the heart of the Napa Valley, will host Clair's (B.F.A., Studio Art, 1993) paintings.
After graduation, Lopez (B.F.A., Theatre Studies, 2021) applied to Bellaire to teach drama, where he teaches well over a combined one hundred students in all periods except second.
