Master Draper
Sarah Barbour (she/her) is a New Jersey native but has made Austin her home since 2018. She joined The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance in Fall of 2021 and currently holds a master draper position in the costume shop. She earned her B.F.A. from Rutgers University: Mason Gross School of the Arts and has been working in the costuming field for over ten years. Her specialty is menswear tailoring. She has had the honor of working with many theatre and opera companies around the United States and even in England, including Shakespeare's Globe in London, The Santa Fe Opera, the Alley Theatre, The Glimmerglass Festival, The Huntington, Denver Center for the Performing Arts and New York City costume shops that help produce costumes for Broadway.
