Caitlyn Waltermire is a writer from Kentucky and third-year M.F.A. in Theatre student with a specialization in playwriting at The University of Texas at Austin. Since 2017, her plays have been developed and produced across the country. Recent credits include the Greek myth adaptation Persephone Palmer Steps Out (Theater for the New City) and period-horror Good Company (The Ugly Radio podcast). Her feature screenplay, the god of love, was a Quarter-Finalist in 2026's PAGE Int'l Screenwriting Awards. Her fiction and dramatic writing have been published in Denver Quarterly, Apricity Literary and Arts Magazine and The Vassar Review.
