Caleb Solberg

Caleb Solberg joined the Department of Theatre and Dance in February of 2025. As a member of the Finance team and the department's Guest Artist Liaison, Caleb supports the financial and travel logistics for services provided by guest artists, students, faculty, and staff. He holds a B.A. in Music, from California Lutheran University, where he organized the university's 5th annual music festival, CalLuPalooza. Originally from Ecuador, Caleb relocated to Austin in 2018 and has since contributed his talents at Lively Middle School, Texas Development, and the Department of Slavic and Eurasian Studies. 

Outside of work, Caleb enjoys serving as a stage manager for the SXSW music festival, playing tenor saxophone and acoustic guitar with local musicians and sharpening his chess skills. He's especially proud of the moment he first surpassed a 1000 rating and welcomes any friendly challenges.
