Carley S. Robinson is an actor, director, and facilitator. Recently relocated to Austin, TX from Ithaca, NY, Carley is a M.F.A. in Theatre candidate with a specialization in drama and theatre for youth and communities. Her current practice and research hinges on making theatre with community that forces audiences to remember that they are human beings with bodies with other human beings in their bodies. She has worked with companies like Hangar Theatre, Civic Ensemble, Black Artist Collective, ArtEquity and more to support the agency of diverse communities and individuals to be in conversation and create theatre that doesn’t allow people to escape reality, but to change it.
