Becka Morton is a Mexican-American director, designer, playwright and educator with a passion for social justice and climate advocacy. For over a decade, she's been deeply involved in San Antonio’s community theatre scene, contributing in a wide range of roles. She earned her B.A. in Theatre Arts from The University of the Incarnate Word, and since 2022, she's served on the steering committee for the Latinx Theatre Commons, where she currently champions the communications committee. She is currently pursuing a M.F.A. in Theatre with a specialization in drama and theatre for youth and communities at The University of Texas at Austin. Morton has a passion for sharing her love of theatre with young people, especially introducing neurodivergent students to the transformative power of the stage.
