
Kylie Mask is a performer, teaching artist and all-around theatre-maker currently pursuing her M.F.A. in Theatre with a specialization in drama and theatre for youth and communities at The University of Texas at Austin. She holds a B.F.A. in Drama with a concentration in Acting and a minor in Musical Theatre from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to graduate study, Kylie spent five years in Atlanta, Georgia, working as an actor, educator and devised theatre facilitator with young and adult artists. She has an extensive background as a Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) performer, including credits at Alliance Theatre, Florida Repertory Theatre, North Carolina Theatre for Young People and TIFLI Festival hosted by ASSITEJ India. Her work explores the intersection of drama-based pedagogy and body-based mindfulness practices in education and youth-led theatre-making.
