Gala Demarin (she/they) is a M.F.A. in Theatre candidate with a specialization in live design and production (scenic design) at The University of Texas at Austin. Their work explores how spatial environments influence human behavior. Working across theatre, installation and immersive design, they create environments that guide audience movement, attention and interaction. Their practice investigates how design can shift participants from individual spectatorship toward shared collective experience.
