Jason Lee Huerta is the Operations Manager, Fabrication for Texas Performing Arts at The University Texas at Austin. He is also a lecturer for the Department of Theatre and Dance. His course introduces undergraduates to the backstage life known as technical theatre. He has an M.F.A. in Scenic Technology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Some credits with Texas Theatre and Dance include In Sisters We Trust, or My F*cked Up American Girl Doll Play (2022), The Tasters (2021) and The Drowsy Chaperone (2017). Prior to coming to Austin, he worked at various theaters including the Goodman Theater, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, South Texas College and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
