Graphic for the studio series production of THE PRUDES

Written by Nathan Joe
Directed by Bennett Kirschner

Samantha wants to bang Ben, Ben is in love with Mandy, Mandy is dating James, James is flirting with Natalie, Natalie confides in Lisa, and Lisa is using Gary. In a series of episodic scenes, The Prudes captures the awkward, hormonal and contradictory nature of teenage relationships in a real and honest way, with the characters revealing their lusty desires and sexual anxieties through the "joy"’ of humanity’s favorite taboo. Based on a daisy-chain structure by playwright Arthur Schniztler, where interlocking couples go head-to-head, The Prudes is a play about navigating the murky waters of sexual intimacy as a young person.
