Professor of Acting 1977 - 2013

Professor Lee Abraham, retired in 2013 after 36 years of service as an acting teacher at The University of Texas at Austin. Abraham earned an M.F.A. at the California Institute of the Arts. He has acted and directed at the Loeb Experimental Theatre in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and played the role of "Lucky" in the UT production of Waiting For Godot with Barrie Ingham of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has also directed many productions for the Department of Theatre and Dance, including Awake And Sing!, Very Good Eddie, The Women, Old World, Twice Around The Park, Top Girls, Design For Living and Measure For Measure.
