The Cohen New Works Festival is a biennial celebration of new, bold, risk-taking, future-thinking, cutting-edge, no-holds-barred, adjective-filled, original performance! The festival welcomes and encourages artists from any discipline to join us in a week-long celebration of student-led performance.
Due to the realities of the Covid-19 outbreak, we are planning for this year’s festival to be a fully remote experience. While this means there won’t be an opportunity for artists and audiences to meet each other in the same physical space – we are excited to explore new means of creating powerful connections during this time of social distancing.
The Cohen New Works Festival 2021

This event is free and open to the public.
The 2021 Cohen New Works Festival Selection Committee is comprised of current students, faculty and members of ExComm. We are committed to making sure we have a diverse, wide-range of artists serving on the Selection Committee. All selected projects will be announced in December 2020.
