Offers outstanding pre-professional training in acting, singing, dancing, auditioning and performing to prepare high school students for college auditions and careers in musical theatre.

TXMTW alums have been accepted to AMDA, Baylor, Carnegie Mellon, CCM, Emerson, Florida State, Millikin, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma University, Pace, Point Park, SMU, Texas Tech, UArts, UNCSA, UT Austin, University of Utah, Webster... and the list is growing!

Fosters the development of new musicals and inspires the next generation of musical theatre composers, writers, directors, and performing artists.

This past cycle included work from the award-winning creative minds of Berton Averre, writer Mark Saltzman and lyricist Rob Meurer, Helldrivers of Daytona puts the pedal to the metal in the NASCAR musical where tensions race and drivers compete for the top slot in the 1965 Daytona Speedway Jackpot 500. Amidst a sea of tanned surfers, speedway groupies, motorheads and bikinis, Lucky Stubbs must find a way to win his dream girl, Pepper Johnson, from rival driver Count Porcini Portobello, a dangerously enticing European hotshot. The race for love and glory is on in this spoof of 1960s rock n' roll movies that's fast, furious and funny.
