Jeremy Lee Cudd directs and teaches undergraduate acting at The University of Texas at Austin. For the Theatre and Dance Department, he has directed Brian Oglesby’s Or, the One With the Dogs (UTNT (UT New Theatre)) and the studio productions of Carlos Murillo's Dark Play or Stories for Boys, Neil Labute's Some Girls and Aaron Posner’s Stupid F*cking Bird. He also composed original music and played live percussion for The Sparrow. Cudd developed and directed five episodes of an actor-focused web series, Detention, designed to provide undergraduates with experience in both on-camera acting and self-producing digital video content. This concept developed into the new course Intro to Creating New Media, which emphasizes the creative empowerment available to student actors in making and distributing their own work. He is a member of Actors' Equity Association and is represented by Collier Talent. He is a freelance director, editor and musician and has also worked as a production consultant and script developer. Cudd is passionate about new work as well as new-minted and highly personal productions of classical work.
