Alex Rockey is a M.F.A. in Theatre candidate with a specialization in live design and production (scenic design). He chased every touring show he viewed coming through his hometown all the way to Broadway, where he then stayed to start his education in the field. He began his design career in New York City, receiving his B.F.A. from Pace University for Production and Design for Stage and Screen - concentrating in scenic and costume design. His work has been seen through costume craftwork internships at Paper Mill Playhouse (Holiday Inn, Beauty and the Beast) as well as within his distressing assistantship for Beetlejuice on Broadway. Some of his selected scenic design credits include works with Quisisana Resort (She Loves Me, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Showtune, a Jerry Herman musical review) and Guys and Dolls on Pace Mainstage. He hopes to continue his career across the country working commercially, taking everything he's learned all over the nation and using it to bring joy to every audience member.
