Ningmo Liu is a M.F.A. in Theatre candidate with a specialization in live design and production (lighting design) at The University of Texas at Austin. Liu is a theatre and visual artist with design experience in animation, theatrical lighting, scenery, projection and costume. He most recently served as 3D Environment Animation Designer for OCD (UTNT (UT New Theatre), 2021). His previous work includes 42nd Street (projection designer, 2019); Bare (lighting and projection designer, 2018); Love, Loss & What I Wore (costume designer, 2018); Sylvia (lighting designer, 2017) and Mister Major and the Minor Wife (scenic design, 2017). Liu identifies himself as a culture messenger and a global worker who communicates various cultures with beautiful art.
