Leah Hummel is a M.F.A. in Theatre candidate with a specialization in live design and production. Hummel is a Chicago native, freelance costume and props designer, stitcher and teaching artist. In Chicago, Hummel worked with Strawdog Theatre Company (Jeff Award Nomination: The Revolutionists), Raven Theatre, The Neo-Futurists, The Wilmette Center for the Arts and the Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group. They have taught theatre crafts at Niles West High School and Yachad Chicago and hold a B.F.A. in Theater Design & Technology from Western Michigan University.
