Summer Programs

Residential summer programs are offered from June through the beginning of August.

The American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive is a well established program for middle school and high school aged students.

The only program of its kind in the country, the Texas Musical Theatre Workshop (TMTW) is designed to foster the development of new musicals and provide a bridge for high school and college aged artists to the professional world.

The UT Theatre in Italy program brings theatre to life through creative participation. It takes students out of the classroom and into the piazzas and streets of the breathtaking city of Florence, viewed through the lens of cultural history and live performance.

The Summer Institute: Activating Learning through the Arts is two-week, eight-day intensive for pre-service and in-service teachers, arts educators, and UT undergraduates and graduates interested in using drama-based instructional strategies across the curriculum.
