Kevin Newcomb created and now manages the Media Support Service Office in the Department of Theatre and Dance. The Media Support Services office offers education on classroom instructional technology and audio-visual equipment reservations and distribution to faculty and students in the Department of Theatre and Dance.
Newcomb earned a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy with emphasis on Philosophy of Psychology and a B.S. in Radio-Television-Film with a minor in Critical and Cultural Studies with emphasis on Feminist Media in a double-degree program at The University of Texas at Austin. He earned his M.F.A. in Art on full scholarship from the University of Oklahoma with concentrations in Film Production and Film History. His experimental film, Deo Gratias, won First Place at The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences College Emmy Awards, an Eastman Kodak Grant and invitation to screen at the Cannes Film Festival's Emerging Filmmaker's Showcase.
