William Henry

Billy Henry teaches sound design for theatre at The University of Texas at Austin, where he has been a sound designer for many plays and musicals, including his recent work on Refugia, The Silent Woman, 381 Bleecker, Girls in Cars Underwater, The Orange Garden, Twelfth Night and Helldrivers of Daytona. His music can be heard before every UT football game on the Jumbo-Tron behind Walter Cronkite as he says "Get your horns up." He has won many awards for his compositions through the years including multiple ADDYs, and he was an engineer on the Grammy Award-winning album "Los Super Seven" by Los Super Seven. He has worked with many artists through the years, including Don Henley, Sheryl Crowe and Neil Young. He also tours with the Dixie Chicks when his schedule allows.
