Jeremy Cudd

Jeremy Lee Cudd directs and teaches undergraduate acting and directing at The University of Texas at Austin. He directed the project productions of Carlos Murillo's Dark Play Or Stories For Boys and Neil Labute's Some Girls, as well as Brian Oglesby's Or, the One With the Dogs for UTNT (UT New Theatre). He also created original music and played live percussion for The Sparrow.

Cudd developed, directed and edited five episodes of an actor-focused web series, Detention, designed to provide undergraduates with experience in both development and acting in self-produced cinema. He developed this concept into the new course, Intro to Creating New Media, emphasizing the creative empowerment available to student actors in making and distributing their own work. Cudd is a member of Actors' Equity Association and is represented by Collier Talent. He is also a freelance director, editor and musician. He often serves as a production consultant and/or script developer. Cudd is passionate about new work as well as new-minted and highly personal productions of classical work.
