The award-winning ensemble Dance Repertory Theatre returns to the stage in Fall For Dance, a collection of vibrant and captivating works by nationally renowned choreographers. A highlight of the concert includes Parsons Etude, a highly physical contemporary work by celebrated choreographer David Parsons. Credited by The New York Times as "one of the great movers of modern dance," Parsons is artistic director and founder of Parsons Dance. The concert concludes with Promenade by Robert Battle, artistic director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Set to John Mackey's discordant score, Battle's modern dance pairs couples in a social dance of juxtaposition, moving between formality and primitivism.
Fall For Dance includes mature language and adult content.
